About 'Dark Side of the Moon'
Dark Side of the Moon was first published in June 2006 and rereleased in paperback format in November 2006. It hit the Top 10 lists in Canada, Finland and Australia. It was also #1 at major chain stores (ie. Walmart) and online book sellers (Amazon). At the peak of sales, Dark Side of the Moon was #6 at the New York Times, #19 for USA Today and #4 for Publisher's Weekly. Not bad book #11 in Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series. The main characters are Ravyn, who happens to be a Were and a Dark-Hunter all rolled in one, and Susan, who is a reporter who happened to ruin her reputation over a story and ends up writing for a friend's tabloid about killer moths. Set in Seattle, WA, Susan goes on to the vets and comes out with a cat (Ravyn). The problem with this adoption? Well, for starter's he's not exactly just a cat and secondly... Susan's allergic. Allergic to him when he's in his kitty cat form and also allergic to his hair when he's in human form. Certainly not quite the foundation that a relationship would be successful on. But Susan gets taken for a ride and quickly thrusted into the world of the Dark-Hunters and their ever-faithful squires. Dark Side of the Moon has a more in-depth look into the world of the squires and what it means to be one. New Dark-Hunters are also mentioned in the story when there was a meeting of the DH's in the Seattle area. There are several funny scenes in which Nick (Nick!!!) makes a comeback, where Ravyn is concerned over a fellow Dark-Hunter's well-being and goes barging into the room and.. Well, you just have to read it now to see what it's all about.
