Macaroni and Cheese

Serves 4


Ingredients:

  • 250ml milk
  • 30ml margarine
  • 30ml flour
  • 250ml grated cheese (cheddar)
  • 5ml mustard powder
  • 2ml salt
  • 500ml macaroni

Instructions:

  • Fill a pot ¾ full with water, bring to a boil at maximum heat. Add noodles and stir constantly until noodles are al dente.
  • Melt margarine in a sauce pan. Add flour. Gradually add milk, stir until sauce thickens. Stir in cheese, mustard powder and salt.
  • Drain noodles in a colander, rinse under cold water. Place noodles back into pot and pour cheese sauce over. Mix until all noodles are coated with sauce and serve.
