Not much of a clotheshorse

Haha what an awkward conversation. Nice comeback though, hehe.

It’s quite interesting that you pay more attention to dresses and skirts. I think it’s probably the same for me; I have been trying to dress up a bit more. I used to wear really casual clothes, haha. Perhaps we just want to impress our guys. 8) But then again, James doesn’t have the greatest taste in clothes.. bahahaha.

World domination!

Ah, smutty romance novels can be enjoyable sometimes! πŸ˜›

A dictator, admittedly, isn’t my sort of thing. It seems to suit you – you’d make a lovely, friendly dictator, I think. πŸ™‚ Being on the back of a coin or on a stamp would be something to be proud about, hahaha.

In reply to your comment – these kids are of high school age, not quite university yet – so around 14-17, I suppose? I just find it a bit weird because they don’t have jobs and they get pocket money… hmm. :S

I have been doing a lot of housework lately. I used to do practically none. πŸ˜›

It’s a lot like very conditional love

Eep! I dropped by a few days ago when you changed your theme/layout but I don’t think I even commented! *blushes*

It’s a good thing you’re being looked up to by your sisters. πŸ™‚ It shows you’re setting a good example. Well, I admit, I try to think for myself – my parents wanted me to do this, do that with my career and I settled with what I wanted – but there isn’t anyone to, well, “congratulate” me for that. My younger brother is incomparable to me, even though I think he’s quite a rebel.

I haven’t heard of the woman and the dolphin but apparently there was some lonely man who had sex with dolphins. 😐

What kind of, if any, unrealistic expectations do your parents have for the person that you are or should be dating/engaged to/married to?
ERRR.. heh. I think I mentioned this last year or so; my mum really wanted to marry someone not only Asian, but Indonesian. She went on and on about how I’d meet some Indonesian guys if I went to so-and-so university. In her face. I went to the one I wanted to go to… well, it’s not that she (or my dad) don’t like James, they just don’t see him as something hugely special. XD But he’s my boyfriend, not theirs. πŸ˜›

A’choo-ing and hiccuping

Aww! I hope you get better soon! Itchy eyes are a pain. I don’t get them often, or allergies with those reactions, but I think smelling perfume makes my eyes itchy. :S

I hope you have a better day tomorrow! It’s Friday here; odd. πŸ™‚ I’m pretty much on holidays now :3

That NC question about Whistler’s was just dumb. Your tweets in the sidebar just reminded me how the answer was … British Columbia. O_O

The restless feeling within these four walls

It’s completely cold here. πŸ˜› Very very cold. I shivered a lot today. πŸ™

I installed WP with Fantastico. I’m just debating whether to actually convert to it or not haha. And because I would hate to change my URLs. I do have a copy of my pages though! Hmm. I’m still thinking about it. πŸ˜€

My ex-boyfriend still hasn’t improved with age. πŸ˜›

SEX! (Did I grab your attention?)

Oh I remember that, we too learnt about ‘private parts’. I think that’s pretty considerate that they are age-appropriate. My friend missed out on sex education ages ago and it was pretty funny… πŸ˜›

I still think basic sex education is necessary. I remember when my brother told my mum he was going to be learning that sort of stuff, my mum was shocked for a while… xD

» Posted By Georgina On June 2, 2009 @ 11:20 pm

You most definitely grabbed my attention. πŸ˜› Teenagers should be taught some information in regards to sex, but most definitely not all grades. In fact, I saw a rather scarring set of images on someone’s blog of extremely young children participating in rather… sexual behaviour. πŸ™ But if the parents are allowed to pull their child out of learning that sort of thing, by all means. They should definitely be warned if anything like that is to be taught.

I do get the feeling I’m not good enough. For me when it comes to schoolwork though. :/

1. When’s the last time that you had a β€˜real’ vacation?
Ummm… well last time I had a vacation of sorts, I found it boring. It was just the whole visit-the-relatives type thing.

2. What’s one thing that you have been feeling today?
Numb. I have felt numb due to some things that have happened.

3. What are you looking forward to the most in the month of June?
Holidays :3

I’m not like “everyone else”

Hi Michelle! Sorry I haven’t really been keeping up with your blogs for the past few days! I had some assignments which were really bleh.

I should just let my databases fix themselves. πŸ˜›

Eeep. I don’t think four years (or more) is long to do a degree. My orthodontist had to take 5 years for dentistry and another 5 years for orthodontics. And many degrees here – engineering pretty much – is five years. Perhaps it’s because it comes with a diploma – but four years isn’t a lot at all. My parents would think about money. *nods*

I’ll be only 21 or 22 when I graduate. I was even thinking of doing another degree…

I had only five hours of sleep the other day when I was trying to finish my assignment… eek.

Too bad your father didn’t know the songs; he must have had a really bad day to be irritated by that. πŸ™

An unusual Thursday

I have a sweet tooth, LOL! I take lollipops from work all the time; so bad. XD

Four hour meetings remind me of James’s extremely long lectures at university. Only about two hours, but, woah. O-o

The sun is actually coming out here! It has been raining for the past week.

So, I work in an education centre. I start at 3.15… usually I’m early from uni, so I do a sudoku or eat while I’m waiting. Then I go inside and then I set up the tables and stuff. And… the children come in.

I have to check students’ homework if there is any. There’s usually a whole basket. But while the kids are doing classwork, they need to get their work marked so they put it in the inbox. (Hehee.) Then I mark it and put it in the outbox. (Hehee.)

The classwork gets first priority because the children have to go home and it’s not good having so many children in the centre. But it’s hard to finish marking all the homework – there’s usually a lot of it. That’s why there are many of us XD

After marking homework we have to record it in their logbook with scores and dates. If they have anything wrong, it needs to be put at the front of their folder so when they pick it up next time they come to class, they have to correct that work. As well as doing a new booklet for class.

Very confusing O-o I hope that was a sufficient explanation. XD

Hanging in there

Aww, that coworker sounded pretty creepy. O.o

My parents are pretty cheap about petrol/gas. They make use of all the vouchers and things. I’m glad I don’t have my full licence; they might ask me to drive them around.

I had a tiring Tuesday as usual! πŸ˜›

It was just one of those days

Oooh. Caught your new layout. LOVE πŸ˜€ yellow+blue= ^^

» Posted By Georgina On May 23, 2009 @ 8:51 pm

Woah, your dad was on a roll there. It’s true that people are still wasting paper, but email is a good invention, in my opinion. I can’t exactly back myself up – but hey, it’s good. πŸ˜€

I don’t agree with watching animals on screen. You want to be interactive with pets and take care of them. O_O

Eeeek, what’s the need for expensive containers? I’m sure cheap ones out there would do fine. Those ghost lights seemed cute though :3

» Posted By Georgina On May 23, 2009 @ 8:50 pm

I apologize for grammatical and spelling errors in advance

Haha no one has pointed that out. But cheaper is good. And that’s true 8D. I can’t really imagine one person going by themselves, now that I think of it. I remember seeing someone inside one gondola, cleaning the windows. XD

It’s Friday today; so far alright. Been relaxing before doing work – slept in a bit πŸ˜€

It’s a bummer about the printer. I hope they connect you up soon! :3

Notably the change in colour would have been obvious. I don’t think it would have tasted too great – well, depends how much water and how much coffee.

I’m not familiar with nursing schools, even here. All I know is that they do need nurses in the hospitals. I hope you find a good school around πŸ˜€

Ngawww, I liked CCs layout. I think all my sites need revamping O_O

1. Tell me, honestly: How was your Thursday? Good? Bad? Mediocre? Not worth mentioning?
Thursday was good (ferris wheel).

2. Do you have any weird quirks that revolve around candy?
Hmmm… not really… but I am a sugar addict. You can’t keep candy on me; I’ll eat it.

3. What is the single most cutest thing that your significant other has ever done? (And you can only name one!)
HMM. The thing is, it’s hard to think of one. We kissed in the rain? :3

» Posted By Georgina On May 21, 2009 @ 9:51 pm

What was your first clue?

I’m not trying to get exempt from a course – just a subject which only takes 14 weeks to do. She still didn’t care to tell me about the subject or give me further reasoning :/ Currently she’s taking the place of the professor while she’s on leave. She’s also my lecturer.

Figured! I still think it’s odd to steal a jumper (that didn’t have pockets)? :S

I don’t know who spray paints buildings but I know you do much more interesting things. Go Mr Snuffles 8D

Yet, I think it’s rather strange when people talk to you and you don’t normally have a chat with them. It’s a bit awkward.

Rather an awkward conversation about people dying on you though. I wouldn’t know what to say if I had been in that situation. πŸ˜›

» Posted By Georgina On May 20, 2009 @ 12:18 am

Taxidermy, Fighting & Mr Snuffles

Oh I see. That’s a bit more complicated than I thought :S

I’m guessing Mr Snuffles is some kind of animal πŸ™‚ I haven’t heard of Victoria day but it’s a state in Australia πŸ˜›

I haven’t heard of that movie haha. I hate when there are chatty people in the theatre. When I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, there was this idiotic woman behind us telling the person next to her about the movie and basically recounting the whole thing O.o

» Posted By Georgina On May 18, 2009 @ 6:08 pm

It’s been a slow Saturday…

Haha, I know. You can still associate them with food somehow. XD I mean, you know how people can be when they don’t want to eat because they’re stressed (well, for anorexia anyho).

I don’t think they have pets πŸ˜›

I get turned off by expensive clothes – if I saw one double my textbook that would be about two hundred dollars. O.o next shop!

Yay for romance books! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE prawns. ^_^

What about chilling out in a park? If you guys like that, haha. It’s what James and I like to do. :3 I hope you think of something anyway! And have fun! πŸ™‚

Can’t stop what you can’t control

Hahah. Jay is actually someone online *shifty eyes*. I’ll tell you some time πŸ˜‰

Your dad is being rather silly there. I mean, my dad eats a lot, but he usually finishes the leftovers rather than taking some so no one can have any.

Ugh. I hate scanning. I don’t know how you can more than one at a time though… but poo. Photocopiers are so mechanic. πŸ™

I find actual scanning (putting it through to the computer screen) a pain. It takes forever O-o

I do not follow politics but I can tell you that here we have Greens as well and they usually fail too. :3 When I turn 18 this month though; I will have to vote somewhere in the election things O.o

Just thought I’d mention how fast your site loads even if my internet is capped! <3

Pearly whites and a dog…?

Wooo. I have only seen part of that movie while I was shopping… just randomly watching… glad it wasn’t a horrible experience at the dentists’ though πŸ™‚

Ngawww, what a cute dog! XD

Talking with my hands

“It goes in a bag with the product” should be pretty self explanatory, right?

I’ve always felt weird about adding grand hand gestures in when I’m talking to someone. Sometimes I feel like they expect me to do so. O.o

My wisdom teeth haven’t come out yet; my orthodontist said that some of them might have to be pulled out because there isn’t room for them. Mean. I’ve had teeth pulled out for braces before though.

Noon isn’t a great time; usually they say you can’t eat anything for an hour or so? XD

Wedding (!!!), work and a new fanlisting

Woot! Fanlisting! Never heard the song though πŸ˜›

I love skittles. I haven’t had them in a while though. I might actually buy some before I go home. Tehee!

I never really watch Grey’s Anatomy but I love watching weddings, hehe. :3

Birds of a feather

I was poopy at biology, so congrats! I was always in the 70-percent range o.o

I guess looking at the average really evens things out! C+ in chemistry is WAY better than what I could ever do in it. XD

» Posted By Georgina On May 5, 2009 @ 7:57 pm

There’s never a wish better than this

I love that song! πŸ˜€

Cubicle girl, tehee. And congrats on passing chemistry *dances*

Getting paid to wait for files to load… doesn’t sound great. You’re doing nothing! I don’t like ancient computers; my five-year-old desktop PC is fat and dying all the time now. *LOVE* laptop. I love how there’s a warning when I open multiple Word documents: opening multiple instances may slow down your computer. Are you sure you want to do this? πŸ˜›

Hahah. I’m chatting to someone who is actually watching Dollhouse as I type this… I don’t even know what it’s about; sounds like some crime show…?

It’s been raining a fair bit here. What is weird is that it was pouring at uni, and when I went near home to go to work, it was fine. :S Suppose it’s because I live so far. :3

Love the new layout too πŸ˜€ Beautiful flowerssss :3

» Posted By Georgina On May 1, 2009 @ 10:01 pm

The walls are caving in with no warning

Haven’t heard of the song, but yay for using song lyrics as blog titles πŸ˜€

Wow, you drive between buildings? Strange! I guess it’d take a bit long to walk. Reminds me of uni, but we can just walk, haha.

Haha, last year when I graduated, everyone else still had two months to go, so it was weird talking about it to people. :3 C’est la vie indeed!

WIRELESS! *dances* Speaking of wireless… which I don’t have at home, I am going to cook noodles.

I don’t know how that was related. πŸ˜€

Time flies when you’re having fun

Ngaww, four girlfriends. πŸ˜› He must be feeling all the luurve.

I like Iris! Even though I haven’t listened to it in a while. Sounds like you guys had a nice time out! I can’t believe you recognised Kristen Stewart saying the same lines. Hahha. I haven’t watched Twilight, but heh, heh. ^O^

Ah, I’m tethered to the laptop now. I like that word, thanks! πŸ˜›

» Posted By Georgina On April 27, 2009 @ 2:19 am

Lazy day!

I woke up at 11am today! It’s 1.24pm now XD

Wow. That’s a lot of work!

You make me feel bad when you mention the library; I don’t go there too often.

You’re so lucky. I spent my break doing jackall, and now I’m stuck on this radio script assignment. I have to go back to uni on Monday… I cannot wait till June/July. SEMESTER END. XD

» Posted By Georgina On April 24, 2009 @ 8:26 pm

Hell warmed over

Congrats on getting employed, by the way!

Sorry to hear that the chemistry final wasn’t too great. I hate when there’ new’ material. Look on the bright side. Last exam :D.

Ugh, I hate people who do that. I have been in that situation many times when I have been in a pissed mood. I can just imagine that person-I-sort-of-know sticking their hand in my face, expecting me to say goodbye or something. O.o

I’ve been trying to catch up on my work. I have procrastinated too much and must continue my assignment.. U_U

Plans for the week

Hahha, downloaded lecture slides. Bliss.

Best of luck finding a job! I still find it amazing you can do volunteer work with all this work too. *LOVE* You have a great study plan. I’m sure you’ll do well! ^O^ Unlike me = fail.

Jewellery……. I miss making jewellery. I looked at some craft stuff today and wondered if I should take up some crafty things for the last few days of my holiday XD

Ooh. It’s Monday morning and I think I got about nine hours. Fair!

The Energizer one has been around longer haha. The Duracell is supposed to be the newer and cooler version. πŸ˜›

I don’t usually sleep through my alarm, I’m the kind who reaches over and turns it off then goes back to sleep.

Hope you get more sleep soon! The sign should work, though. Don’t mention the boyfriend.. “assignments” might be a better alternative ^_^

I vote for the sun to move indoors

That is majorly sucky that you can’t go outside and enjoy the sun! πŸ™

So many essays! At least you’re prepared, but best, best, best of luck.

I haven’t been doing much lately, actually. I have four reviews to do now. Bummerrrrrr. I’m on break, so it’s all good.. sort of πŸ™‚

Last to know?

I hate when I’m the last to know. I’m sorry to hear about the tree. :O

I’m always the last to know with my friends. Even they knew I’d be dating James before I did :S. But yes, amongst other things. I’m the last to know. Not really in my family, but I know how it feels.

Haha, it wasn’t our idea for the 5 days. They decided it; jerks. πŸ™
