Ingredients:
- 1 quart strawberries, hulled and sliced (approx. 4 cups or 1L)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 orange, zest finely grated
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a pot, turn the stove on at about medium heat.
Bring the contents to a simmer, stir gently until the berries release juice.
The sauce will thicken when it cools.
