Do you believe people are basically good?
Not really. I believe that people can be good, but then the path to hell is paved with good intentions after all. We can mean to do something nice for someone else, but it can always backfire. I think how people are is really determined by their actions and their intentions. Even if their intentions are good when they’re doing something, it doesn’t necessarily make them a good person.

If you could change the custom of shaking hands, what would you replace it with?
Erm… The half-hearted casual wave of the hand? Like I do right now?

What is something that you enjoy that is a chore for most other people?
Doing laundry. I like sorting and putting clothes into the washing machine and the dryer and folding everything when it’s all still warm and ending up with a laundry basket full of neatly folded, warm, clean clothes that smell so fresh.
