1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.1.10Yay, new layouts all around!
https://imaginarysunshine.com/index.php/2008/12/30/yay-new-layouts-all-around/
https://imaginarysunshine.com/index.php/2008/12/30/yay-new-layouts-all-around/#commentsTue, 30 Dec 2008 09:12:38 +0000http://imaginarysunshine.com/?p=1587… WordPress just ate my entry.
So here’s the shorter, revised entry that holds basically the same information.
Chelle-Chelle.com and AmesRPG.com both got new layouts (ahead of schedule, might I add, as I was planning on getting new layouts and themes up on the 1st) so I decided to put up the new theme here as well. I found out that I’m likely to have plans with the family on the 1st as that’s the day that my sister’s leaving to go back to LA so we’re likely to head out for lunch or something before dropping her off at the airport.
That being said, there’s something else besides a new layout here and that’s Icon Challenges! Icon Challenge #1 is really easy to start things off nicely. Just one 100×100 icon about your favourite television show.
I also talked on the phone with the boyfriend for about an hour today. He made me smile.

https://imaginarysunshine.com/index.php/2008/11/29/i-was-productive-ish/#commentsSat, 29 Nov 2008 08:41:11 +0000http://imaginarysunshine.com/?p=914First off, I actually wrote something tonight! I’m now at 46,004 words and I have 3,996 words left to go. Hello lengthy goodbyes as people are leaving. Also, I put this page up: button bases. There’s fifty of them, I’ve been working on them on and off and have done like… 5-10 a day for the last little while, just as something to procrastinate with. All of them are 88×31. My next fifty will probably be another standard size. I love stock photography, vectors and textures so much.
Tomorrow (erm… later today), I’m going to be going out for breakfast/brunch/lunch with the family (for dim sum!) which I’m pleased about. Also, I need to buy index cards so I can make up my study cards for my biology classes. And tomorrow I’m going to be writing 3,996 words and just… finishing it.

+ 1 new completed review over at Imaginary Sunshine Reviews! Click here to read it.
There’s a review for A Hundred Million Suns by Snow Patrol up as well.
Also… I bought 300 index cards today… $1/100. It’s a good day? Yes, I think it is.

https://imaginarysunshine.com/index.php/2008/11/22/accident-prone-girl-right-here/#commentsSun, 23 Nov 2008 03:23:01 +0000http://imaginarysunshine.com/?p=862Today started off great. Went shopping, bought beads, got groceries and vegetable dip (works well with cooked, cold shrimp!). Two packages of beads, a dozen cans of Cream of Mushroom soup (yay), lots of vegetables and fruit for the next week. My sister and I went to the library and all that and then… Well, then… it all went downhill from there. I kept on bumping into things and there’s now a bruise on my calf (again…). Burned my hand a few times while cooking dinner and then I dropped the bowl (without food in it, thank goodness) onto the kitchen floor and it promptly broke into I believe it was seven large-ish pieces. You canĀ hop over to this site if you need the best lawyers to solve accident cases.
On the bright side, I am now at 42,000+ words out of 50,000. I’m only a few days ahead, but I want to reach 45,000 before I go to bed and then finish the damn thing tomorrow morning and then… study, study, study.
Got some new (non-Twilight-related) icons up (21 new ones!): click here.
How has everyone’s Saturday been going? I hope you’re all less accident prone than I am…

I now have exactly 100 Twilight-quote icons. And I’m sure there’s more to come. I used some (of the only good) quotes from Breaking Dawn.

I have a few more reviews that I want to get up over the next few days (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants [movie]; Saturate by Breaking Benjamin [album]; and Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon [novel]). Also… (Now that I’ve blogged about this, I don’t think that I will be able to take it back quite so easily, and I don’t think that Kristi will let me either!) I’m planning on getting a reviews website up (like reviewing sites owned by other people). It’s going to have an awesome kick ass original name (Imaginary Sunshine Reviews) and I’ll be taking applications as soon as I get it set up and opened.

I’m your host, Michelle, and this is layout seven with ‘hot air balloons over the city at sunset’. I hope you all like it, I know that I do.
Work was okay today. I have fifteen pages for my lovely second-to-last manual that I’m writing for work. Yay for being accomplished! I got a lot of work done. However, I cannot touch eight of thirteen of my projects until next week when people involved get back. Yay for pushing everything back to the last possible moment…
I’m just going to go and fall over and sleep now. Or just rest my eyes a bit.

I hope everyone has an awesome Sunday August 17th. I’m going to be going to the beach for a party later today at around 10:15-10:30am and then going to an awesome night market from 7-9pm. I hope everyone has a great day and the next time that I post will probably be tomorrow. Have a great day, everyone!
]]>https://imaginarysunshine.com/index.php/2008/08/17/its-gift-giving-time/feed/3Happy BC Day
https://imaginarysunshine.com/index.php/2008/08/04/happy-bc-day/
https://imaginarysunshine.com/index.php/2008/08/04/happy-bc-day/#commentsMon, 04 Aug 2008 20:55:32 +0000http://imaginarysunshine.com/?p=422BC Day (or British Columbia Day) for those wondering, is not the date of the birthdate of the province of BC. It’s just a civic holiday created for the first Monday of August. Other provinces/territories that have a civic holiday in Canada on the first Monday of August include: New Brunswick (New Brunswick Day), Saskatchewan (Saskatchewan Day), Nunavut (Civic Holiday), Northwest Territories (Civic Holiday), Alberta (Heritage Day), Nova Scotia (Natal Day), Prince Edward Island (Natal Day). While this is all cool, BC has the one that can be shortened the least amount of characters being used (BC Day = 6 characters, 5 if you don’t include the space).
And in other great news, I did a revamp of the section all about me. It includes three very awesome definitions from Urban Dictionary and all about how my portion of Canada isn’t covered with seals and snow. There are also two new pages (basic information and random facts). Have fun reading. And, if no one had noticed in the last few days, I changed my ‘back up’ program of choice for university from a BSc in marine biology to a BSc in evolutionary biological sciences. Yeah, that’s going to be an incredibly long thing to have typed up on a degree, oh well! But that’s just the backup, so it’s okay.
Click here to read all the new information that I got up.

https://imaginarysunshine.com/index.php/2008/07/27/a-few-new-pages/#commentsSun, 27 Jul 2008 22:44:26 +0000http://imaginarysunshine.com/?p=412It’s been a pretty mellow day. I stayed in bed until around 11am. I had crab (yum!) for lunch. I flipped through my Photoshop book for a bit. I watched an episode of Stargate Atlantis. I’m currently eating a popsicle while typing and listening to the American McGee’s Alice soundtrack. I’m getting to be very boring lately. But next month is going to be interesting. I have two birthday parties to attend, potentially an anime convention, as well as attempting to sell textbooks from last year to the in-coming first year students who will, hopefully, buy the crap I have on my bookshelf.
