Flopping

I just feel like flopping today. It just seems like one of those days. Luckily, I only have one more class (1pm-2pm!) and then I’m heading home. Well, actually that’s kind of a lie. I’ll be heading off to my interview. I love how yesterday when I was mentioning it to K and C, the first thing that they asked was “For nursing?”. I love it when people realize how not into working part-time I am during the school year. For those who care… It’s an interview for a volunteering position at a long term care home that’s probably around 10 minutes away from my house by bus, give or take a few minutes depending on how fast the bus driver is. I’m looking forward the interview, but at the same time I’m really nervous about it. But I was talking to M, who volunteers there, and thinks that they would probably love to have me since it’s a private care facility and they don’t have as many people applying to volunteer as the hospitals would. Which is an excellent point. Plus, hospital volunteering programs are a bitch to get into and I’d much rather like something that’s closer to where I live. I mean, if I were to walk from my house to volunteering, it’d be about 15 minutes or so, which is pretty nice. But I’m also incredibly lazy so I’ll probably just take the bus there (I can just take the same bus time I normally do on my way home and get off earlier).

Wish me luck!!
