Reasons Not to Move to Hong Kong

I wouldn’t be able to cope with the warm weather their either. When the temperature gets to mid-twenties here I’m already sat with an electric fan on trying to cool down. And humid weather is the worst.

I’ve always wanted to visit Hong Kong. It’s strange that they are so focussed on body image. And considering that you’re nowhere near fat at all that’s ridiculous. It’s crazy.

Parting Gifts

Haha, your comment made me laugh. I’m definitely not planning to do any posts involving porn, I don’t really fancy killing my visitors eyes (and mine!) all in one go. I’ll just stick to blogs about pasta, they’re much less offensive.

Aww, that card is so sweet. Shame you had to leave, but I’m sure the nursing program will be great. Good luck!

What I did this weekend (in photos)

Wow, you have the S3, I’m jealous! I have the Ace Plus which is about three models before that one, and I love mine so I can only imagine how great yours is.

What does instagram do?? I’ve heard people talking about it and using it all the time but I’m not actually sure what it is haha. Anyway the photos look nice.

One of my favourite free Android apps is the Angry Birds game, and there’s a couple of music and movie quizzes on there which are pretty good as well.

Good luck with the studying!

Classes, graduation, excitement?

I think I’m more excited about getting time off than actually graduating (which is 2 and a half years away if I don’t fail). It’s just scarier now to me that I’m going to have to go into the real world rather than going on to more education. Scary.

Have fun getting your grad portrait done, I can imagine that’ll be a really cool thing to have! I always look awful on planned pictures (most of my class pictures are terrible), I hope yours end up looking lovely.

What have you been knitting?? At least your form of procrastination is productive, I usually just waste time on Facebook or watching television. (Oh dear).

Good luck with what you’re doing next. Hopefully you get in where you want.

Say what now?

This is what I’m worried about for university – nobody seems to get a job afterwards, well, not one you need the degree for anyway. A lot of the people who I worked at Asda with were ex-uni students who couldn’t find a job in their chosen field. I’m really scared that my degree might be a complete waste of money, it gives me a chance to put off being an adult though haha.

It’s terrible what your Dad said, but don’t take it to heart. Do whatever you want to do, it’s your life, not theirs. You should be proud of how far you’ve come in Uni, many people would’ve failed long before then, so stick at it and don’t worry. I’m lucky that my parents don’t pressure me into choosing what they want me to do, they’ve always supported what me and my sister want to do fully. And strangely, my sister wants to join the circus and they’re fully supportive haha. Good luck with the rest of your degree, I’m sure you’ll do great.

twenty + one = twenty-one

If your microwave has a popcorn button, try that. It’s the only way I don’t burn mine. :)

I kinda forgot about the existence of December…

001. I’m not ready. At all. I didn’t realize it was so CLOSE! :(
002. Nothing, to be honest.
003. I’m reading a Fearless book (#3, Run) by Francine Pascal, lol. Next will be…something else I picked up at Dollar General for a buck. I forgot the name of it and don’t see it within reach.
004. Facebook. Specifically Farmville. I need a 12 step program.

Pearly whites and a dog…?

A good experience at the dentist?? Wow, I’ve never heard anyone say that before. Must be a nice dentist then. :) That other one sounds horrible.

I didn’t do much Saturday night, just watched television. High School Musical is ridiculous. It’s ended with everyone wanting to make crap films. Haha. :)

Apple sauce

I’ve only ever seen on type of iced tea, but I don’t drink it anyway. Living underneath two rocks?? I’m so creative this morning. :O

Maybe some sort of alarm clock?? I don’t know. :)

Good luck with the exams!

Hilarity ensued

I didn’t know you could do that with ashes. :) The wedding would be hilarious, at least no one would try to eat the ring. That happens in films all the time. Some idiot swallows the ring and they have to wait…

I thought of being buried inside a hollowed out tree, with a torch and an axe in case I wake from the dead or something. That would be sure to freak out some woodcutter when he finds his tree’s bleeding. 😛

I’ll have to be normal and get cremated when I die, ’cause I don’t think you could have your own tree to ‘live’ in. People get memorial trees though, don’t they?? But that’s taking it a bit too far. :)

Why am I awake again?

1. How many alarms do you set to get yourself up at a certain time each day?
None, my mum wakes me up usualy.
2. How often do you manage to sleep through the majority of the alarms that you’ve set?
Not often.
3. Sushi or pizza? (Why? What type?)
Pizza because I’ve never had sushi. Mushrooms. 😛

😛

I’m rambling right now…

Sexting sounds dumb to me. I wouldn’t do it. For a start it costs me 30p to send a photo on my phone, so it’s just like being a glamour model without pay. Why bother?? Children are doing it?? Eww.

We got shown a video about her girl who put her details and revealing pictures of herself on Facebook and then got stalked by this creepy guy. Then he threatened her so she had to give him naked photos of herself. I think they were trying to teach us about the report abuse button.

So this is interesting…

Congrats on getting a B!! 30%?? She should have started studying a bit earlier. Lol. 😛 I would have helped a lot. Congrats again!!

Flowers in bloom at winter

My family haven’t decorated for Christmas yet. :( We usually just put up a tree, cards and tinsel round our pictures and mirrors. This man round the corner from us used to have his house plastered with lights. He can’t use that many anymore because it caused the power on the street to go out. :( He still has a few though.

My mum likes poppies…. of the plastic variety. She isn’t too great with real plants.

Back to school (almost)

I was actually impressed this year, I only spent $60 for my two boys on back to school stuff. Usually it’s a lot more. Usually I wait for the tax free weekend, too, but the only store in my town is Wal*Mart and I wanted to avoid all the trouble of a busy Wal*Mart.
