Winter Break (Finally!)

That is so exciting that you are halfway done. I’m so glad that you feel like you are in the right career pathway. It definitely makes the hugest difference when you feel like you are happy and enthusiastic about what you want to do. Merry Christmas!

It’s the little things in life

I’m glad you are loving your laptop.

Those socks are AWESOME.

Vista and 8

I haven’t used Windows 8 yet. I’m using Windows 7 and I’m happy with that. I am glad that you found something to make it a bit more easy for you. Good job, Clay! :)

New chapter starts now!

This is wonderful news!! Congratulations!! 😀

» Posted By Caity On May 8, 2012 @ 11:14 pm

The end of a chapter; the beginning of the next.

Congratulations on those grades! That’s awesome!!

It doesn’t matter how long it takes! It matters that you finished! It took me longer than 4 years too but I don’t care at all! I did it in my own time and it’s not a race.

Yay! The future is looking exciting! Good luck with your nursing program applications!

Studying and pausing to reflect

You are busy doing much more important things. And yes, there are people who update WAY less frequently than you. 😛

You just keep focusing on your studies and being awesome! I’m so excited that you’re so close to graduation! I bet not as excited as you are, though!

Classes, graduation, excitement?

As a teacher, I have to say I hate the whole participation grade. I really do. If someone wants to sit in my class and learn in their own way, then I say let them. Maybe they don’t want to ask a damn question and by university level they shouldn’t damn well have to do that. It makes me so angry. At the high school level, students should be encouraged and even “forced” to participate on some level so that they understand that asking questions when they don’t know something is vital to their comprehension of a topic but when you get past that and you’re in school by choice? Well then participation should not be part of your grade.

Sorry for the rant.
It just irks me.

So what kinds of things have you been knitting? You should post pictures! Grad portraits sound exciting! My college graduation didn’t seem like as big a deal as my high school graduation either which was quite strange. It’s funny how that goes, isn’t it? I guess there doesn’t have to be such a big hullabaloo now since we’re adults and all and the diploma is the biggest gift of all.

Say what now?

Wow, your dad can really be a jerk sometimes and say some really idiotic and hurtful things.

I have always admired your dedication and hard work and I think you made an excellent career choice and you really seem to enjoy it. You should be proud of all you have accomplished and never second guess yourself. Don’t let anyone let you ever think otherwise! <3

Study Mode: On

It’s your blog and you talk about what you want! I’m glad that you got what you wanted for Christmas. The dolls are so cute and I’m glad that they make you happy! :)

Wow you really have been busy and now I know Clay has been too. It will all be worth it though one day.

Stress happens, and then I sleep.

Good luck with all your exams! I know you will do well! :)

Lessons learned over 21 years, 364 days

This entry is awesome. <3
Sometimes it's so important to realize all the great things we've learned in our lives and realize that some of these skills that may seem trivial can still help us in our adult lives.

Mastering Procrastination

I always second guess myself on multiple choice tests. I hated teachers who gave me multiple choice tests. Especially multiple choice MATH tests. Those are the worst especially since I believe in partial credit on HUGE calculus problems. I’m always going to be one of those math teachers who gives partial credit on math problems because I’m not an evil lazy teacher who just wants to feed the scan tron machine.

Anyway. How the hell are you a horrible influence? You are probably about one of the best influences I can think of and it sounds like this mother is just being ridiculous. Apparently kissing is a bad influence? Well, if she thinks she can stop her daughter from doing that, she’s in for a surprise. I could go on a really long rant here about parents like that but I won’t.

Now back to studying you go! Stop reading my awesome comments! Stop reading! Why are you still reading it? You’re still reading? Stop! Stop it, I say! Ahhh!

How updating a program made me hate my printer

Wow, how ridiculous. It always turns out to be such a silly thing, doesn’t it? I’m glad you figured out the problem and you are able to print your things out again even if it did cause you so much frustration!

4th Year Rambles

Wow that is so exciting that you are finally getting into the end of this and are preparing for nursing school! I know that you will do so well. Good luck with it all!

Hobbies are an awesome thing to have. I don’t know much about Blythe but I’ve always loved your Blythe doll photos and I do look at them. I am glad that you have something that you love so much and that conference that you went to sounds super awesome! :)

Handful of cuteness (and still impatient).

I can’t believe that book hasn’t come yet! Is someone taking it by horseback or something? Sheesh!

I’m glad volunteering is going well and oh my goodness that doll is SO adorable!

» Posted By Caity On September 25, 2011 @ 8:45 am

Patience is not my middle name.

Haha that’s a good idea to do reading from photos if you’ve got a good enough camera. Whatever works, right? I probably wouldn’t have thought of that and I take pictures of everything!! I hope your book comes soon!

Enjoy your volunteering! :)

Aww! Happy anniversary! :)

The end of something, the start of something

Aww it sounds like your coworkers were really sad to see you go. That was really nice of them to make the end of work memorable for you hehe!

I’m sorry you got so sick! I’m glad you are feeling better, though! I hope the start of school goes so well for you! I look forward to hearing all about it! Stay healthy until then!

Be kind to me

Good for you for donating blood! I’m glad you were able to! It is such a great feeling. :)

I want sunshine!

Ooh a pattern store sounds like a really cool project. I love the knitted headband you made for 4alissa. :)

Good luck with your midterms!!

Back to the daily grind

Wow you got a lot done in a week! Great job!

Doctor’s appointments can be so awkward sometimes. Do you think maybe you were nervous or felt like there were awkward conversations and maybe that could have spiked your blood pressure? That has happened to me before.

Have fun shopping!

Morning tea and Swedish furniture walk into a bar…

Cute layout! I also like the layout at 4alissia. I went there the other day because I saw it on your twitter. I think it’s a great thing you’re all doing.

Our family has a restaurant like that. They know us by name. It’s a Greek place in our town. My dad’s side of the family is Greek and this little place just loves us. Every time I go in there they ask me HOW IS JIIIIIM (my dad is Jim). It’s cute.

Glad you had a nice Christmas!! :)

Time for cheer!

Yay! Nice to have you back!! I hope you enjoy your break! :)
I love your 25 things. I might have to do a blog post like that.

Nouns I love

I thought it was kind of cute how you have a little “heart ranking system” on 1, 2, and 3. I giggled at that because it probably wasn’t even intentional. Great list. It’s so important to be aware of the things that we love. ♥

PS I love the sheepies. SO cute.

That time of year…

Good luck with your finals, hun!! 😀

I caused a little ruckus today at the bus stop

Good for you for sticking up for yourself. What a horrible woman. I don’t care what kind of a day you are having, nobody should ever push someone like that for no reason! How horrible!
