A self-made rainbow & full acceptance

You should have told me you needed school supplies! I could have just given you stacks upon stacks of unopened lined papers. Let’s just say, the summer in between gr.12 and uni, my family went a bit crazy (just a bit) and bought a ton of lined papers. Five years later, I’m still trying to finish the stacks. hahahaa…

Just another one of those days…

Anyways, i’m going to visit you guys at uni sometime next month… i’ll e-mail you once i figure out when. =)

Hi, I’d like a time travel device please?

hey Michelle =)

I thought school was over for you guys already? ’cause the 6th was my last day. And wow… [REMOVED] must be really different because I can’t imagine anyone giving any of my profs a standing ovation. Even last week, it was my last lecture for one of my classes, one or two people started clapping to show appreciation for the prof… about 5 other people joined in and the applause died within a few seconds ’cause no one else clapped. They were all too busy packing up their bags. It was kind of awkward…

Hmm… what did i do today? i ran errands and studied for my exam tomorrow. The best part of today was having sushi lunch with my dad. =D

Something I’ve learned recently: It doesn’t matter how much I sleep, I still get tired really easily. Sleep and I are best friends, but don’t worry, you’re also up there on my list of friends. haha…

Edited by Michelle – removed school name.

My English paper isn’t writing itself…

Hey,

I’m assuming that you will be citing in MLA style…. so… In your in-text citing:

“He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.” (John 1. 8-9).

And in your Works Cited…

New International Version Bible. New York: Oxford UP, 1972.

(The “New International Version Bible” should be underlined). I think you know that there are many different versions of the Bible, so yeah… just replace “New Internation Version” with whatever version you’re using. I hope this helps and sorry if I’m wrong with any of the citing stuff. And I usually capitalize the “B” in Bible.

It’s March, that means… snow?

Yeah, the snow totally caught me off guard the other day. I went out with my friends to eat at a restaurant and it was sunny… when we finished eating… I went outside only to realize it’s freezing and snowing.

1. Umm… same as your answer.
2. I didn’t even know there’s such a thing as Grimm fairy tale..
3. A couple months ago… because I work at a medical clinic and it’s mandatory.

Party food checklist

Somehow, I feel the “allergic” thing was directed at me. =D haha…. anyways, the past couple years I haven’t had any major allergic reaction to the food i’m supposedly allergic to, so now I just consider myself not really allergic to anything. =)

But um… do tell me before you hand me orange juice because that, i think, i’m still allergic to.

Sleeping in

I’m up by 7 ’cause I have an 8:30 class. It’s my only class on Fri and it’s only an hour long… so i guess Fridays are usually good days for me. =)

Hey,

To have the guts to ask something like that… is something you should be proud of yourself for. I’m glad you asked him.

I nearly got killed by a goat – Part 2

A goat??? odd…

This totally remind me of this time… I was late waking up so I got my dad to drive me up to SFU… and near the top I was like “look dad, there a dog, but where’s the owner? There’s no one around” And then my dad said “uhhh… that’s not a dog. That’s a coyote.” -__-“

Bleh to tuition

I thought ubc tution is higher. Mine’s pretty much the same as yours. But I think it has to do with what faculty you’re in. You know how the higher years you go in university, the more expensive it gets? But my older sis’ tuiton is lower than mine. >.<

And i know what you mean about having to buy new textbooks! Some of my textbooks require a code to access the online assignments. You either buy a used textbook and the code separately or you buy the new textbook which includes the code. (The code is different for everyone). It’s more expensive to buy it separately though… but if you buy the new testbook, you can only sell the textbook afterwards, not the code… which means you don’t get a lot of money from it. =(

Livid little me

your comment thing works now. =)

You know… I used to love working with kids and whatnot, but in the past year or so… they’ve become more and more defiant and lost their “cute innocence” that they’re supposed to have. Not all kids… but enough that sometimes i want to take them by the shoulders and shake some sense into them.
