I upgraded WordPress (from 2.1.1 to 2.5.1).

I wish I hadn’t though, it looks ugly now. Maybe it’s because I’m not used to it. But I prefer to think it’s because the other one was nicer looking. The upgrade went rather smoothly, it was simple and easy to do. The only issue that I had was connecting it back to the database because I forgot the password. Luckily I had backed everything up prior to upgrading all the files so I could just open up the original file that I had and then just copied and pasted in the password, yay.

I updated my Top 10 Suggested Programs page so that now all of the programs being showcased are free. If you haven’t already checked out the page, the programs that are mentioned (and are all free for download) are: an anti-virus program, blogging tools, a text editor, email client, FTP program, music player, photo manipulation program, web browser and (my favourite) a complete alternative to MS Office. For Mac users out there, as far as I know, most of the programs that I’ve mentioned are PC-friendly but I do know that some are Mac-compatible (I do plan making a list of Mac-friendly useful and free programs sometime in the future).

Oh, and in other news, my laptop is overheating too often today and the fan keeps on turning on because it’s pissed at my usage of it and the temperature that the room that I’m currently in.
