I’m about to talk a lot about my potential future so fair warning about me blabbing on and on.

I had to spend to general sciences advising today. Who knew nothing (and asked if I spoke to science advising). Then I go to science advising. Who asked if I had spoken to general sciences advising (who had referred me to them!). Which just led me to believe that there’s a huge communication breakdown if neither advising department knows what they’re doing. But that is besides the point.

So I spoke to science advising about my specialization (a.k.a. “major”). I needed to tweak it a little. See, prior to day, it would say that my program is Life Sciences (only). Which is fine, whatever, but that’s really what the only option that I had available to me online when I needed to self-declare a program. So, fine, whatever. But now that (after this term) I only have 7 (!!!) courses to go prior to graduation, I thought that I should really go and get them to change what my program title is. Because I really, really want them to throw more words onto my degree. Just makes it all look fancy and all.

And now, in May of 2012, I will be graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Life Sciences and Earth Sciences. That is what they’ll be having printed on my degree. Along with my name, but that is not the important part. The correct title is!

Otherwise known as: Hey look, I took a crapload of biology and oceanography classes (but mostly biology) and this is what I got!

Because I sure love fancy papers with long titles on them… I’ll be applying (again) for nursing programs for the September 2012 intake spots and then I’ll hopefully be done with all this post secondary school business by the time I’m 25 or 26-ish.
