This is how our conversations go when I’m feeling tired, lonely, insecure and bored (all at the same time). Mostly lonely and insecure though.

M: I have a question for you. But I’m not sure if I should ask it.
C: [pause] You can ask me anything. I just might not answer.
M: You sure?
C: Yeah, go ahead.
M: And it comes from the fact that we never see each or you never have time for me. [pause] Are you seeing someone else?
C: I do have friends… But no, I’m not seeing anyone though.
M: Does “I’m not seeing anyone though” include me?
C: No, it doesn’t include you, silly girl.
M: Very good answer.

  1. At least he gave you a straight answer, but is he always busy, or just not making time for you? =( ‘Cause if he’s not, that’s not the best thing, either. =/

  2. ah yes good answer. I probably wouldve asked it a long time ago.

Ice Cream Social: She works at a retirement center in dietary. They have an old 50s soda fontain looking area where they host ice cream socials every once in awhile (I dont know if its weekly or monthly or what) but all of the residents can come and get ice cream any way they want: banana split, float, sundae, etc. And their families and such can come too and eat with them. Not many showed and it was supposed to last from 2-3 so by 2:15 when I went there, everyone was served so we ate ice cream and chatted for a bit before she showed me around!

  3. Hey,

To have the guts to ask something like that… is something you should be proud of yourself for. I’m glad you asked him.
