My dolly blog is up! However, the links on the side don’t work (yet). They link back here, haha. But I’ll get them done this weekend – I got a little sidetrack by this cute feel-good movie that was on tv (called Chestnut: Hero of Central Park) which, while predictable, was a very nice movie overall.  Anyways, the new blog is called Little Miss Sophie (yeah, I was really original there, wasn’t I?). The colours need a bit of work, might change the header soon, but not sure yet. But the basics of it is up, a post is up. I just need to finish off my pages and take more photos of my darling Sophie.

Work pretty much sucked today. It was long, boring, tedious and tiring. I’m just so glad that it’s the weekend. Work’s been difficult the last week, mainly due to the roof construction and the fact that the smell makes me feel sick (and it’s kind of difficult to escape it as it goes ends up saturating the entire building by about noon).

I’m not going to be home for most of this weekend, it seems so far. Plans, plans, plans! Plus there’s shopping to get in somewhere. I need to make/buy/do something for my friend’s birthday gift next week. Another weekend where I’m honestly never going to be home, hah. When on earth did I start having a life? I think I made the same comment last time I had plans for my entire weekend. It’s just such a foreign concept to me. I’m just so used to having no plans, beyond a few hours of volunteering on Sundays. Occasionally there’s a sale at the crafts store, which is always planned in advance, but beyond that… Not a whole hell of a lot goes on in my life during the weekends. Well… Apparently things will be happening this weekend and next, but usually nothing happens.

Also… I’m looking for more stuff to fill in my weekends as I’m going over available dates/times for first aid courses (because, you know, the courses that fit great into my schedule as it currently stands? Not the one required for nursing school. The one that I need? Doesn’t fit in quite that well unless I want to travel for it. Which I will end up doing, as I want to do it before school starts).

  1. I never have plans for the weekend. Well, lately, in my seven week holiday (and I go back to uni on Monday), I have sat at my computer pretty much all the time. It’s a horrible habit. I really want something to do. D:

I think you probably have more of a life than I do, though. I hope you fit in that shopping! 🙂

I use WP Spam free and it gets rid of most spam. I don’t like how it sometimes thinks my friends’ comments are spam. 😛

“Traveler” has always looked so weird to me. I was watching The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and the title just didn’t look right. XD

  2. The extent of my weekend plans is usually just a get-together with all my friends at someone’s house to play video games and hang out, or a girls’ night with my best friend. XD My friends and I spend a lot of time hanging out during the week, but other than that, I wouldn’t have what many consider an active social life. 😛

As much fun as it is to relax on weekends, sometimes it’s good to get out and about for a few days. ^^ I hope you enjoy your busy weekend! 😀

  3. Dolly blog, huh? Sounds intriguing. *clicks*

I’ve never really understood the whole Pullip-Blythe obsession some of my friends have, so could you perhaps write about it? What is the “deal” there?

  4. I’m the same – I never ever have plans for the weekend. For me, my weekends are the time for very saturated writing and beading. :] I save my hanging out and shenanigans for traveling, otherwise I’m sickly introverted.

Your new doll blog looks adorable! I’m looking forward to it. ^_^

I’m sorry work is so miserable lately! I’m crossing my fingers for you that it improves asap.
